The beautiful Spanish Red-Legged Partridge is a legendary game bird that has long challenged shotgunners with its incredible speed and erratic flight. Season: Mid-August (shoulder season) – April 30.  The unique state of Castilla-Leon has its own hunting laws allowing for the extended season.

BIG GAME HUNTING IN SPAIN

Jagd Stiedl hunters have access to an astounding 20,000 acres of prime land in the Salamanca province including a private 2,000+ acre estate.  We also hunt around the country (depending on species) in the common lands and national preserves – mostly the Batuecas and Gredos national parks.  Big game species in Spain include: Spanish Ibex Grand Slam (Gredos, Southeastern, Ronda-Coast, Beceite), Red Deer, Roe Deer, Mouflon, Fallow Deer, Cantabrian Chamois, Pyrenean Chamois and more.

LOCATION

Our gorgeous one-of-a-kind hunting lodge is just 15 minutes from the historical Renaissance city of Salamanca in the west of Spain.  Guests typically fly into Madrid, where our private chauffeur service provides a very comfortable and scenic 2hr transfer to the lodge.  Along the way, visiting the medieval stone walls of Avila and El Escorial (palace of Eperador Felipe II) are possibilities.  Much of the big game hunting is also done from our main luxury lodge in Salamanca, however for certain species we hunt in different parts of Spain.  Inquire for specifics.
